However, Franklin Trust Federal Credit Union is now a Community-Chartered credit union! Persons who live, work, worship, attend school in, businesses and other legal entities located in Hartford County, Connecticut are now eligible to join.

Required Documentation to open accounts
- A Government ID (Driver’s license, passport, State ID etc.)
- Social security card
- Proof of address if not the same on government ID
Youth Accounts
- In person transaction
- Original birth certificate at account opening
- Parent/Legal guardian present at account opening
